Raw Chocolatier Certification: Here We Go Again!
A little more than one month ago, we finished our second, Level 1 Raw Chocolatier Certification Course in partnership with Sayuri Healing Food. To say it was fun would be the understatement of the year - it was an absolute blast.
Seventeen students tempered, dipped and decorated their way to chocolate heaven. It was no surprise that by the end of the week, when the chocolate party rolled around, we were absolutely drowning in all things chocolate.
We kicked the week off with a beautiful opening circle and cacao ceremony, and soon enough, the students were right into it. The students began by learning how to make simple and tempered chocolate. Everyone was absolutely brilliant and learned to successfully temper chocolate on their first attempt. Very impressive!
Soon we moved on to pralines - learning how to make beautiful soft centers - and of course the fun bit: the dipping and decorating. The students got to spend a morning at our production facility dipping and decorating their beautiful praline creations. Their creativity never fails to inspire.
The week was completed with their final project - a dessert plate that had to include tempered chocolate.
